Overview

Background:

I'm a PhD student in Mathematics (Statistics and Data Science) working on statistical postprocessing of ensemble forecasts of compound weather risk, supervised by Dr Frank Kwasniok, Dr Chris Ferro, Dr Gavin Evans (Met Office) and Dr Jamie Kettleborough (Met Office). I am funded through a studentship by the Exeter EPSRC DTP until March 2026.

I hold an MSc in Data Science (Statistics) from University College London where I wrote my MSc dissertation under the supervision of Prof Richard Chandler on GAMLSS-based modelling of multisite daily precipitation, with applications in climate model downscaling, winning the price for the best MSc dissertation in the department of statistical sciences. I gained work experience working as a research analyst in the PACTA team at the 2° Investing Initiative (now at RMI). I hold a BSc in Mathematics from Technical University Berlin and a BA in Philosophy and Political Sciences from Free University Berlin.
