Professor Nigel Byott (he, him)

Professor Nigel Byott is currently Co-Director of Education & Student Experience for the Department of Mathematics & Statistics (along with Professor Layal Hakim), and is a Professor of Pure Mathematics. His research is in algebra and number theory, particularly in the area of Hopf-Galois theory. In over 30 years at the University of Exeter, he has taught a wide range of courses within mathematics.
