If you study, work at or have graduated from the University of Exeter, the Career Zone provides a lot of guidance on careers, CVs etc.

The Royal Statistical Society (RSS) also has a dedicated Careers in Statistics webpage, which includes job profiles of different statistical careers, help and advice, CV and interview tips as well as the latest jobs.


The YSS is the Young Statisticians Section of the Royal Statistical Society. The YSS organises a range of events for young statisticians, both in London and in conjunction with local groups around the UK. As a young statistician, you automatically become a YSS member when you join the RSS.

Grant Applications

We have been asked about where you can get support for grant applications.  For the University of Exeter, Research Services provide support for researchers on a number of fronts: funding support, bid development and more.  In addition to this, individual colleges have research offices to provide support.  Relevant emails for these offices are provided below (we will keep adding to this list as we find out more!):
