I'm a data modeller working at the interface of statistics, machine learning and AI. I have experience in devloping probabilistic data models to solve problems in a variety of areas, including environmental sciences, hydroinformatics, epidemiology and public health. My research broadly focuses around Bayesian hierarchical modelling. More specifically research interests include:

  • Space-time modelling using Bayesian hierarchical splines
  • Space-time modelling of point processes
  • Stochastic weather generators
  • Downscaling of weather and climate data
  • Hidden Markov and semi-Markov models
