Meghna is a postdoctoral research associate (Group: Prof. Jim Haywood) at University of Exeter, since July 2024. She is working on TWISTA (The Wide-ranging Impacts of STratospheric smoke Aerosols) project, which investigates the profound effects of smoke aerosols from severe wildfires on stratospheric processes. She uses the UK Earth System Model (UKESM) along with in-situ data and remote sensing observations in her work. Meghna completed her Ph.D. in 2024 (Supervisor: Dr. Narendra Ojha) at the Physical Research Laboratory, Ahmedabad, and the Indian Institute of Technology, Gandhinagar. Her doctoral research centered on modeling the atmospheric trace gases over the Indian subcontinent, with a focus on understanding how chemical and meteorological processes influence the concentration of these gases.
