Prof Mark Holland is a Professor in Mathematics. He has a PhD from Warwick University in the subject of Ergodic Theory and Dynamical Systems. Before arriving at Exeter he was a Research Fellow first at the University of Manchester and then at the University of Surrey. His recent recent interests include Extreme Value Theory for deterministic dynamical systems together with understanding quantitative recurrence statistics.
