Mark Heavey
Postgraduate Researcher
Mathematics and Statistics
I am a second year PhD student in number theory under the supervision of Prof Mohamed Saidi. My research is in rigid analytic geometry, currently looking at picard groups of affinoid spaces. Those interested in learning more may enjoy Siegfried Bosch's "Lectures on Formal and Rigid Geometry", linked here: https://www.math.purdue.edu/~tongliu/seminar/rigid/Bosch.pdf. More broadly, I am interested in all aspects of arithmetic geometry.
Previously, I completed my undergraduate at Trinity College Dublin, and subsequently completed Part III at the University of Cambridge
