Mathematics and Statistics
I am an associate professor of mathematics and the Director of Postgraduate Research for Mathematics and Statistics. I have previously held teaching and research positions at the University of Bristol, the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and the Ohio State University.
My research is in pure mathematics, primarily in homogeneous dynamics, number theory (Diophantine approximation), aspects of geometry and aspects of analytic number theory.
