Josh Smith

Josh is a PhD Researcher in Jim Haywood's 'Aerosols, Clouds and Climate' research group.

Josh is currently running experiments in the Met Office's UKESM1.1 climate model analysing how recent International Maritime Organisation (IMO) shipping emissions regulations implemented in 2020 have contributed to the recent observed acceleration of global warming.

Josh also works on research to better understand how proposed aerosol based Solar Radiation Management intervention schemes would impact our climate, and is a Postgraduate Teaching Assistant in Mathematics and Natural Sciences.
