Mathematics and Statistics
I am an interdisciplinary research scientist currently working as a postdoctoral research fellow in Kirsty Wan's group at the Living Systems Institute. By combining high-speed microscopy, micromanipulation, electrophysiology, computer vision and data analysis techniques, I explore the behaviours of single celled organisms and investigate how they coordinate their movements without a nervous system. I hold an undergraduate degree in Chemistry, a Masters in Nanoscience and a PhD in Biophysics and Microbial Ecology, all from the University of Cambridge.
