Tony is a Lecturer in Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Exeter, a Senior Research Fellow at the University of Birmingham, an advisory board member of the Academy for the Mathematical Sciences, a KE Hub Knowledge Exchange Champion, and a member of EPSRC's peer review college.
Prior to joining the University of Exeter and the University of Birmingham, he held academic posts at California Polytechnic State University, Universität Bremen, Australian National University, and the University of St Andrews. He has also had the privilege of holding prolonged research stays at the Hausdorff Research Institute for Mathematics, Humboldt–Universität zu Berlin, Institut Mittag–Leffler, and South China University of Technology.
