I am a 3rd year PhD student studying the dynamics of Polar Vortices on Mars and Jupiter. I have published papers studying patchiness in the Martian polar vortices, and I am currently developing a moist shallow water model to assess the impact of moist processes on the Jovian polar cyclones. I am using the finite element model Gusto (https://www.firedrakeproject.org/gusto/). My supervisors are Dr William Seviour, Dr Stephen Thomson, and Dr Jemma Shipton (all University of Exeter), and my funding is from STFC.
I previously graduated from Oxford with an MPhys in 2023.
