Overview

I am a second year PhD student studying the stratospheric pathway and far-flung influences on mid-latitude climate and weather extremes, as part of the wider ArctiCONNECT project. I am part of the NERC GW4+ Doctoral Training Partnership and my supervisors are Dr William Seviour, Dr Stephen Thomson, Prof. James Screen (University of Exeter), Prof. Dann Mitchell (University of Bristol), and Prof. Adam Scaife (UK Met Office).

Since June 2023 I have been the Royal Meteorological Society's Science Engagement Fellow for Youth and Early Career Scientists. Any questions, please contact myself or the society (fellowship@rmets.org)

At the start of 2023, I was part of a joint-Exeter and Bristol team (Prof. Dann Mitchell, Prof. Richard Betts, Prof. Peter Stott) reviewing climate change attribution in UK natural hazards and their impacts for the UK Climate Change Committee ahead of the next Climate Change Risk Assessment. Any questions, please contact myself or Dann (d.m.mitchell@bristol.ac.uk).

Previously, I graduated from the University of Bristol in the summer of 2019 with a MSci in physics with astrophysics, before working in finance for 2 years.
