Overview
I am a research fellow in the Exeter Climate Systems group (https://mathematics.exeter.ac.uk/research/xcs/). My current work is focused on better understanding atmospheric circulation patterns over Greenland and their representation in climate models. My main research interests lie in the dynamics and predictability of midlatitude weather systems, including extratropical cyclones and atmospheric blocking.
I previously held a postdoctoral research position at the Complutense University of Madrid and completed my PhD in Atmosphere, Oceans and Climate at the University of Reading in 2019. During my PhD, I studied the relationship between extratropical cyclones and atmospheric blocking events over Europe in numerical weather prediction models.
